1950 Frankfort Main Street Parade
This home movie shot on 8mm film and transferred digitally frame-by-frame was taken in 1950. Background scenes include the Roxy Theater, Goodwin's Funeral Home and Woolworth's. Not certain what kind of parade this was but it was the 150th Anniversary of something.

1935 Riley Elementary School Part 1
Here is part 1 of a home movie taken at Riley Elementary School in 1935. This vintage film footage, shot on 16mm film, is being made public for the first time here on Frankfort Place. Some scenes include several classroom shots of the students, the principal's office and close-ups of the teachers. Be sure to check out the school bus towards the end of the movie. Riley Tribute Video
This video was made while as Riley Elementary was being demolished. Combines old home movies of Riley from the 1940s along with photos from the 50s and 60s along with newer video taken just one week before demolition began. Made by yours truly, I think you will find it sentimental. |

The Last Picture Show
One last look inside the Frankfort Cinema as workers prepare to demolish the building. Once called the "Jerry Lewis Cinema" it opened on January 14th, 1972 and was known then as one of the first fully automated movie theaters in the Jerry Lewis franchise being built in the early 70s. |
